MI Audio Compressor Pedal
The MI Audio Compressor is essentially a studio grade compressor in a pedal format. One of the features that sets the MI Audio Compressor apart from the rest is the incorporated noise gate. When using any compressor with settings utilizing high compression and high output levels, the noise floor also becomes amplified, thus creating a background hiss. By using the noise gate built into the MI Audio Compressor you can achieve high compression setting without all the associated additional noise that is typically created. MI Audio has approached the design of their compressor the same they have approached their high end amplifiers, utilizing the highest quality components in every area.
MI Audio Compressor Pedal Features
- Volume-Controls input level to the compressor pedal (Pre-compression)
- Sustain-Controls the amount of "SQUEEZE" to give added sustain
- Gate-Reduces unwanted noise when high compression levels are being used
- Release-Controls the amount of time the compression level is maintained
- Attack-Controls the response time of the compressor
- Level-Controls the overall output gain when the pedal is on. Used for matching the levels of the compressed signal to the bypassed signal.
- Internal Trimmer- Controls the release time of the gate
