GK-800RB 300W + 100W Bi-Amp Bass Head
Gallien Krueger's RB Series bass amplifiers have been setting the standard for over two decades. The GK-800RB delivers 300W full range @ 4 ohms. The 800RB is also capable of running in bi-amp mode where the 300W amp is dedicated to the low frequencies and the other on board amp that delivers 100W @ 8 ohms is assigned to the upper frequencies via the internal crossover located on the front panel. When using in bi-amped mode, the 800RB offers high and low output controls to balance the two internal amps. The 800RB is equipped with G.I.V.E. Technology (Gate Induced Valve Effect). This ‘valve effect’ is integrated into the design of all RB Series heads and is part of what gives them their distinct sound. The RB Series bass heads deliver a warm, punchy tone with a fast transient response that not only sounds better, it feels better. GK’s renowned voicing filters and intuitive four band active EQ make it simple to dial in a great sound.
