Gallien Krueger's RB Series bass amplifiers have been setting the standard for over two decades. The GK-1001-RB-II delivers 700W full range @ 4 ohms. The 1001-RB-II is also capable of running in bi-amp mode where the 700W amp is dedicated to the low frequencies and the other on board amp that delivers 50W is assigned to the upper frequencies (horn) via the internal crossover located on the front panel. When using in bi-amped mode, the 1001RB offers high and low output controls to balance the two internal amps. The 1001RB is equipped with G.I.V.E. Technology (Gate Induced Valve Effect). This ‘valve effect’ is integrated into the design of all RB Series heads and is part of what gives them their distinct sound. The RB Series bass heads deliver a warm, punchy tone with a fast transient response that not only sounds better, it feels better.
